Day 9 Progress
Morning push ups did seem a little easier this morning. Maybe, despite talking lots about the discomfort and pain in certain muscles, this is beginning to get a bit easier.
Procrastination is not good. Maybe because of the effects of playing squash I was expecting the next set of puch ups to be quite painful and a bit of a challenge. And I was right. But I kept putting off getting down and getting on with it.
Net effect, when I do drop to squeeze out a few pumps, it is as hard as I expected. A very large part of this, and any other fitness/exercise challenge is mental.
20 for a midday set at this stage in the process is quite pitiful. Now need to average 124 push ups per day from here on to make the stretch target. It may be achievable. Just need to cut out the negativity and procrastination.
