Day 3 already. This is tough but I broke my daily target
Take a look here if you need to see the rules for this challenge. Day 2 progress here.

Day 3 Progress
This was a pretty pathetic start to the day. I had been lying in bed feeling how much my pecs were sore and hurting. When I got down to do the first set of pushups I had already convinced myself it would be hard work and painful.
Sure enough, it was hard work but not as painful as I expected. Nevertheless, my brain was busy telling me how hard this was.
Fortunately, I had my head back in order by 9:00 so got stuck in and did another 20.
It still required some self discipline to do the larger set at 14:00
Ideally I would like to do this challenge in no more than 4 sets per day. To achieve the target for the last 2 days has required 5 sets. Admittedly today was a bit of a stretch to make up for the push ups missed in the first day. Being honest, the last 2 or 3 Push Ups in each set were quite a struggle.
I can now feel the effects in my abdominal muscles, on the outside of my upper arms – I think that is probably my biceps joining in – and most surprisingly, on the back of my knees. I think that is from keeping the body tight in the plank.
3 days in and I can feel the consequences of my effort much more than expected. Tomorrow is a Saturday. As I am playing golf it may be difficult to fit in sufficient sets to achieve the target.
Just 2,700 push ups to go. Bang on target
